Compact, reasonably priced, and incredibly accurate 3D scanning probes with the capacity to hold styli clusters and probing extensions up to 360 mm long. Both fixed and articulating types are available.
The HP-S-X3 is perfect for dimensional control of small to medium high-accuracy prismatic parts and complex geometries. It provides high-speed scanning for form and profile inspection and quick single-point probing for all common measuring jobs.
Styli can be changed throughout a measuring program without requiring probe requalification thanks to an automatic tool changing feature. Fast and dependable alterations are made possible by the styli’s magnetic clamping on the sensor.
Features & benefits
- To obtain accurate measurement data, the measuring sensor is designed with a wide linear measurement range and high sensitivity. During measurements, the axes of the measuring sensor are not fixed, ensuring that the motion of the measuring system remains perpendicular to the surface of the measurement object.
- The true direction of the surface normal is determined for each touch point.
- Automated probe modifications allow for rapid changes in probe settings without the need for recalibration, significantly increasing the measurement output.
