The CALIPRI Prime optical inspection system offers precise measurement of critical railway wheel profile parameters in just a few seconds. By utilizing laser light section technology, this integrated system eliminates errors caused by heavy instruments and variations from wheel profile wear gauges or templates. Its camera/laser unit captures the wheel profile without physical attachment, while the inbuilt software assesses each dimension parameter against predefined limit values. In seconds, all wheel characteristics are visible on the sensor screen and can be digitally transferred to your PC if needed. Additional features include color-highlighting of areas beyond tolerance.
