The GBI300 is the industry standard for gauge block measurement using interferometry worldwide. NPL-Hexagon Gauge Block Interferometers are used by numerous Primary Calibration Laboratories throughout the world for their Gauge Block Primary Calibration.
ISO 3650, Federal GGG-G-15C Grade 0.5 (AAA), and ASME B89.1.9-2002 (K & 00 Grades) Gage It is possible to calibrate blocks up to 300mm (12″) in length to the most precise Measurement Uncertainties. It is possible to achieve uncertainty values as low as 0.020 micrometers (less than 1 micro inch).
Features
- Two frequency-stabilized laser light sources are utilized in a phase-stepping optical device designed for detailed analysis of Length Standard surface geometry and for precise length measurements.
- The system features large, interchangeable platens that enhance efficiency.
- It also includes complete, automated measurement and adjustment of ambient conditions.
- Measurements of length variation and flatness are conducted rapidly and integrated into the system.
- Length can be measured automatically in either metric or inch units. Additionally, the adaptable image processing program can be tailored to determine dimensions for round, square, and rectangular length standards. If needed, Hexagon offers platen refurbishing and instrument calibration services.
