Leica Geosystems’ Industrial Theodolites are known worldwide for their exceptional accuracy, boasting the highest angular precision of 0.5″. These autocollimating theodolites are acclaimed for their outstanding optics and unparalleled precision, setting a new standard in the industry. By incorporating additional features and enhancements in their latest theodolite, Leica Geosystems has further elevated the benchmark.
Incorporating advanced technologies in its engineering, Leica Geosystems has innovatively utilized the same piezo technology found in the Leica TDRA6000 and the Leica Absolute Tracker AT403 to revolutionize the direct drive technology for the Leica TM6100A. These groundbreaking direct drives enable sub-micron precision positioning, offering the flexibility of fully automated motorized drives combined with the stability of manual drives.
In addition to having a newly developed battery idea, the Leica TM6100A’s battery lasts longer because of the minimal power consumption required by the Piezo direct drive technology. The battery doesn’t need to be charged or changed for users to function for more than a full day.
The Leica TM6100A’s screen and interface now have additional functions thanks to Leica Geosystems. Operators may carry the theodolite to any position because the new color touch screen is always visible. Users can perform simple sensor calibrations and measurements with little training thanks to the new, user-friendly interface. Although the interface has function keys that can be configured for particular processes, the most frequently used procedures are currently pre-configured on six of the twelve function keys.
