The standard laser tool setter is designed for non-contact tool measurement, ensuring reliable and efficient machine setup, as well as effective tool wear and breakage management. This low-cost system offers significant advantages compared to traditional instruments, making it suitable for measuring tools with diameters starting from Ø 0.030 mm.

The electrical connection is simpler than that of conventional systems. Typically, only an air curtain connection from the on-board pneumatics is required. Additionally, the control only needs two spare M functions, which simplifies electrical installation and reduces overall machine-related expenses and labor.
